Alien Jelly is a comedic 3D action/puzzle game themed on B-grade 50s Sci Fi movies. It uses a world flipping puzzle mechanic, allowing the player to flip the world 90 and 180 degrees in any direction. The player avatars are blocks of alien jelly with brains and it is their task to get them to the exit point. At any point in the game, the player can rewind (by pressing a shoulder button) to undo their mistakes. The game allows players to build their own levels in build mode which is a game editor built for the couch and a game pad. The game also has a co-op mechanism activated by pressing start on the second controller. The game has an immersive Burton-esc sound track and a crazy visual style which combined with brain a bending puzzle mechanism is absolutely fun.

  • Hey WindJesterGames, yea, the player takes control over teh different jellies, however it is co-op with unto four controllers. Still working out how to work the camera on that one though. Thanks for all the comments guys :)

  • This game is awesome. Showing it to my five year old son as I type this, and he loves it. Wants to play! Something as simple as that squishy sound and the eerie background music just does it all! Try a smooth camera transition between character swaps is my only suggestion! Great game!

  • @collectivemass Wow, thanks! I'd love to go to TGS, but not sure if we can make it! And we'll do our best to hit GDC again next year!

  • Awesome one dude. Great to see it all come together.

  • this is really cool. are the different color jellies the same player? Great idea with the rewind feature, i can see how that would help things move along much quicker, and the fact that you have a level editor is great!

  • Wow....this looks amazing!

  • this is seriously cool... when does the game get released?
