Ok so I was able to post some ridiculous shit to instigate an argument about genres, then post something about how skrillex ruined dubstep, then call a bunch of people who I will never see in life faggots, and to top it all off I made up something remotely clever about the number of dislikes a video has, just so I can get that 5 minutes of happiness thinking people out there really like what I have to say because of all the thumbs up I got. My life is complete! Now what. Reality? (hangs himself)

@DrunkenMonkeyStyle77 actually, you are the one thats rated R... dubstep originated from dub remixes of 2-step garage. You sir need to do some reseach.

@Terminal2k1 While this is true, it's hard to dispute the resemblance to the sound the newer mainstream Dubstep has in relation to Drum & Bass synths

don't really know why it's such a huge debate, or care where it came from. it's awesome NOW. I like dubstep and drum & bass and every sub-genre in between. Can't we all just agree that electronic music with lots of bass is great :)

I remember hearing this in a DnB mix in 2010. Never realised the remix was by Sub Focus!

@fractalnation dubstep grew out of garage and 2step combining with a darker, dubby sound to make what was originally called dubstep. hip hop bpm and dnb sound have nothing to do with it, i hope you're trolling.
Without the introduction of a certain genre........then Dubstep would not have existed. So give a big "Thank You" to Drum & Bass for your breaks, drops & bass lines Dubstep heads.
P.S. If you argue with this then you are Rated R..........for Retarded. lol
