Chet's great take on this Jerry Reed tune...it starts with a great blues bass line, and then continues on with the melody played over the bass line, which goes throughout the entire tune. Sweet!

Others have recorded this tune, and no disrespect to them. ...I play it myself. ...We do the best we can, and we might even play great. But none of us can ever quite capture that exquisite tone, the effortless, relaxed feeling, the faultless precision, the sheer musicality, of Chet Atkins. It is like seeing Leonardo painting the Mona Lisa, or hearing Elvis singing Don't Be Cruel so long ago. It is a time, and a genius, forever lost to the world we know today. JS

I've been told that he did, but it's an incredibly hard recording to get your hands on. Most of them out there are Chet's.
