Jesus Christ is much more than some idol someone has created. He is Lord. Yet today, much of Christianity presents an American Idol view of the Lord. This is another part in the series on this topic
@mousey1952 You need to learn how to rightly divide your Bible friend, we are in the time of the Church of Laodicea...the APOSTATE church... The Dragon went to make war against the REMNANT who KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS of G-d and have the TESTIMONY of Yeshua (Jesus)... How about FAITH without WORKS, is DEAD?
I'm just going to repeat what I said because obviously, you didn't get it the first time. "You shall know them by their fruits!" Jesus told US this. Jesus said WE, you and I, shall know other Christian's by their fruits.
@aveyowyns You need to learn how to rightly divide your King James Bible, we are in the dispensation of grace, Paul is our Apostle and salvation is by faith alone + nothing, trusting the Jesus died was buried and rose again to pay for our sin, He took our place, and no man is the judge of another's fruit, only God can judge that
It doesn't matter what happens to people on their deathbed - it is a fact that works is a fruit of salvation, which is a fruit of grace... It was because of God's grace that his heart was regenerated and had the thief managed to get off the cross, the reflection or 'proof' that he was, in fact saved, would be his good works - "You shall know them by their fruits."
No, Good works is not necessary for salvation, but it definitely is the fruit of salvation.
@aveyowyns No..the theif on the cross next to Jesus did nothing but believe, there are people who come to salvation on their death beds because they believe, the only one that truly knows if a person is regenerated is Jesus, humans have know way of truly being able to judge that, muslims and jehovah witnesses do good works, they are not saved, because salvation is trusting what Jesus did on the cross, it is all Him and not of ourselves
He is not talking about Salvation - he is talking about being a Christian. Jesus said; you shall know them by your fruits - if a Christian does not produce good works, then he is not saved or regenerated.
are you preaching works salvation or works, in other words, Christians are saved sinners, so are you talking about keeping the mosaic law for salvation, that is not biblical, Paul says by grace are you saved and not of works, and if it is by grace and not works, what you are saying is works,
the will of God is to trust that Jesus paid on the cross for our sin, the dept we can't pay, it is not our works
@mousey1952 If your faith doesn't PRODUCE the corresponding evidence of actions (works) upon it...I fear you had a false start...
