For sure John"s's it a trigger fish. The young lad and myself catch them in florida every spring off canaveral. Great eating but don't put your hand near it's mouth, they have teeth that look just like human teeth. When My boy was around ten he put his hand near one and still has the scar to prove it...Dam near lost the tip of his finger..
My boss called me up. He watch's your videos. He called me and told me that it looked like a "trigger Fish" or an "Ocean Trigger". How in the hell that fish made it up your way, and into a lobster trap is beyond me. I guess they have gone cold water.
Trigger fish. We've been catching them hear in New Jersey the past few years. I heard they've been following the gulf stream up and when the water cools down they just die. Excellent eating.
Yeah, I saw this fish. As a matter of fact I just released that fish into by toilet. That fish sure does swim fast, I live in the south. Trigger fish!
I honestly have never seen that fish before, but coming from the midwest, thats to be expected.
As far as being busy bud, that happens this time of the year. I know just as much as anyone else...I'm having a hard time keeping up myself. Just when it looks like I may have a day off, I don't! Ohhhhh well, come winter, I'll have all the time in the world! :)
