Interesting thing I read.. After the solid boosters drop off they don't actually have enough power for a time until more fuel is burned off and it gets lighter and is able to accelerate again. Also love the speed and altitude display.
Well since that the earth's gravity is strong, the space shutle has to reach up to 17,000 mph to get out of the earth's gravity, and if they didnt make that speed, the space shuttle wouldn't be able to leave the earth's gravity. And no im not a smart ass if u think lol, i just know these things.
Miles O'Brien (no relation to the Trek character) is alittle annoying. On a side note if the external tank is still sending video back as it's falling to Earth I would love to see that.
I've heard of the dreaded "CNN box" before, but this is the first chance I've had to see it. I like comparing mission coverage; I'm looking out for Sky News, now.
to be launched is 17,500 mph in orbit they can go at 28,000 mph once, the rocket is fire does no turning back. astronaut fell around them 3 G force
