Some Devin Townsend - Ki style jamming!

Just noodling around at home with lots of delay.

Recorded using Ibanez S670FM into Boss GX-700 into Zoom RFX-2000 (for cab simulator), DI'd into an Alesis MultiMix 8 usb. Using Reaper to mix and an impulse added with Voxengo Impulse VST.

Wondering about the equipment? I have a Boss Space Echo that can sort of emulate this effect but not nearly as crisp and crystal sounding. Was it a delay and reverb mix? Gotta be a computer plug-in emulator for the space-echo right?

I used my Boss GX-700 for the delay, there was a bit of reverb I think but the sound was mainly delay with a lot of damping. I expect you could get something better sounding with your Boss Space Echo. If not the Boss GX-700 is pretty cheap second hand.

Tuning? Its clearly open, but are you in B or C?

It's all standard tuning apart from the low E which has been dropped down to C, have used it for years :)
