Explaining my way of playing this song. Don't ask why I finger pick everything. Also, my tone is a bit off because I'm using very heavy flat wound jazz strings.

  • Good sound.

Do you change the nut or something for the flat wound strings?

  • @ishiyama333 Thanks for the compliments on the tone. All I'm running it through is a Roland cube 15 watt amp (which today no longer even turns on)... but no, I didn't change the nut. I wish I held onto this cheap little epiphone strat copy, it was unique in a way.

  • there are no open strings in the original guitar line, its a barred hammer-on pattern on the A and D Strings, tight shots. I was just talking about the intro though, the rest of the song is correct as shown.

  • @gremesapa oh ok thanks. i think there may be a difference between the studio version and the way it's played live today by his guitarist (tommy byrnes). i dunno, check out videos from like 2006 and see if i'm wrong

  • this is so terribly off base from what is actually being played in the song... its not even funny....

  • @gremesapa elaborate.
