  • Hitler was right!!!!

Check out today's LA Times - there's an article about Hill wanting to do more dramas. Too funny!

  • @jethanhall85 No, he got 17 wins. And even more nominations, one of which was a Golden Globe.. Point is, he was generating a lot of buzz for a movie that was critically acclaimed when it came out. He should have gotten a nomination. Max Von Sydow is completely left field. I don't think Jonah Hill really did anything, but the movie is Oscar bait, all around, so it's not surprising.

  • @ENRIQUE881

Uh, no. The Oscar nominations this year contained very few surprises.

  • @MateoStarr Well they DO have similar hatred of the US and capitalism and seem totally paranoid...stick a tache on Clooney and the resemblance is uncanny!

  • Max von Sydow was definitely a bigger surprise than Jonah Hill with the Oscar nominations. I think, though, that both von Sydow and Brooks gave far more nuanced, compelling performances than Hill; at best, Hill was comedic relief for Moneyball.

  • @80smusicfanNO1 predictable? are you sure??? You are wrong guy.

  • no he actually lost his spot to max von sydow for extermely depressing and incredibly stupid

  • hilarious

  • fucking hilarious

  • @Urbanart90 I think he got 17 nominations, not wins. And most of those were from film critic associations of different cities, not the major awards like SAG and BAFTA. Anyway, I agree that Brooks was more deserving than Hill. I'm just saying that Hill was expected to get nominated. It wasn't much of a surprise. Again Max Von Sydow is the surprise. But I could see how it's easier to make a video making fun of Jonah Hill than Max Von Sydow, so I see why he would be the target.
