  • Love the advertisement featuring hot Pan Am stews. Who's responsible for that? Now I'll have to go drive nails into my knees for repentance of sins, which Piper advocates.

Or you could read Ephesians for yourself: We are saved by GRACE through FAITH, and this not of ourselves. It is the Gift of God. Why do these egg-heads (...especially Calvinist eggs) like to complicate the simple Gospel of Grace?

  • @Strefanasha Not sure if that answered your question. Christians (who are born again) can be worldly, but I think their lives should not reflect worldliness. Christians will sin, but their fight will point to Christ. Morally indistinguishable "Christians" - sins like the world & responds like the world. Genuine Christians - sins but responds with repentance and a fight. It's sad to hear how the members of the church discourage people from Jesus. I am praying right now that God shows you his love

  • @Strefanasha Legit question. Born into this world - hearts of sin. Accept Christ - born in us is a heart of the Spirit. So, Christian hearts have a sinful nature and Spirit's nature. Accepting Christ gets you through the gate, but the long and narrow path lies ahead. God calls us to commit & do our best, & he is faithfully sanctifying us, changing us into image of Christ. Christians will sin, but how they respond - fighting their sinful hearts in repentance - is a good indicator of faith.

  • @Strefanasha Christianity is such a marvelous thing. We are called to live as living sacrifices to our God, to set aside ourselves so he can live through us...so our mouth may be his mouth, our hands and feet his hands and feet, so our burdens would be his burdens, and so on and so forth. The Spirit does come and make his home within a believer. This will always result in a changed lifestyle.

  • @Strefanasha cont.) Believe me, I have so many struggles and weakness that I can't even see the full extent of them. And though I am still battling with myself, I can have full confience and praise God today, NOW for setting me free from myself because of what he has already done and because of his promises that he will finish the work he began in me.I have no doubt this is true, and trust the Lord that he has me in his hands and will work to separate me unto himself more and more.PRAISE HIM! :)

  • @Strefanasha No, born-again people are new creatures re-created by God for his glory. We do struggle with sin, with bad desires, with the flesh, the world, ect but over all, God is at work within us to conform us to the image of his Son.Does God fail at anything he does? No. His children willl be different than the children of Satan, God does this for his own name's sake, to demonstrate his power by not only saving a wretch from hell, but transforming them daily into his sweet likeness(cont)

  • so. born agin people are wonderful, sinless, or the next best things? if people in the church are worldy they are not born again? born again people can never be worldly?

look at our fruit, sir. i have never seen the love of christ in any christian person in 30 years. there are no christians at all, or we are all carnal if even born again?

the thinking in this video is permeated with self righteousness
