@Redpilldown Those people choose to live there. Its not like they had nowhere else to go. Their retirees so they probably came from good homes & had good jobs. Whats attractive about Slab city is its free with plenty of sunshine- neither of which can be found in the UK.

These poor people have a tin box, slabs and sand ….. It is disgusting that a country with so much wealth pretends that these people do not exist or shuns them because of their impoverishment.

What makes me lol is that America is supposedly a Christian country……….what a farce.

@deaddoc .... in the lower San Joaquin Valley west of Fresno, where the region has become a near third world enclave where the state seems to have forgotten to look. My mother in law used to own some land in that area. The state of California seems to have completely abandoned it.
