Ice Skating Robot, Citroen Ad.

The ad shows the C4 robot speed-skating across the lake before coming to an abrupt stop and engulfing a crowd of onlookers in a cloud of ice particles.

The ad is set to electro-house track 'Walking Away' by The Egg, and was created with the help of Nicky Gooch, coach of the British Olympic speed-skating team. Motion sensors were placed all over his body to record his every move before the animation team set about creating the transforming robot. Citroen says that the C4 is its second best-selling model in the UK. It hopes that the revamped ad will help create a fresh buzz around the model, which was launched nearly eighteen months ago.
