Parrot Cichlid attack!

Just showing off my bloodthirsty babies in a feeding frenzy :)
Also, note how pale my single Female is- I followed her and then one of her tankmates (bright orange male with white blotch on forehead) to show the drastic difference in their colors.
And... sorry about the background noise, parents were watching 'Constantine.' Have to admit, it adds a nice touch to the vid ;D

Those gold fish are very nasty and produce a lot of waste..Get rid of them or they will be shit every where///

@deadready50 Protip- I got rid of the Goldfish a long time ago. She went into our pond. Goldfish are nice and all, but you'll never see me sticking one in a tank for show.

how to those gold fish do with the parrot? where they just in there as food?

@KaosChrist The Goldfish was just staying there temporarily while we waited out a cold snap. Since Goldfish are coldwater fish and Cichlids are tropical, I wouldn't house them together for any extended amount of time.

Parrots are also territorial, so a Goldfish like her was at risk of being pushed around due to the way she liked to wibble around the tank wherever she pleased.

Just throwing this out there for others, but Goldfish make horrible feeders! Always research food items beforehand.

@arpankar yes I agree. I have 2 JB parrots and I can see there in some kind of pane. but not on the out

side but the inside! I feel so bad for them.....as soon as that hach thay get torchered! so yes I do agree

with you.
