He's might be a little sexist but he had good points. Too bad the economy is a lot less about people and more about politics.

This just shows the intellect of right wingers. They are very anti woman in every scenario other than spreading their legs. He showed contempt for her the second she started talking. I for one would like an all housewife government for the next 20 years. And I would prefer they only have four years of college MAX. Maybe we would get some sanity in this world if we did that.

joan walsh does not come off as a 'strong woman'...she is a flame thrower and blames bush for everything that ailes her...have som eprionciple, go out and buiild a career on your own merits, man or woman.

"She didn't even understand his point: politics should not dictate economic policy"
republicans are always about politics over policy.
"it's widely agreed upon that tax cuts for the wealthy will lead to increased growth in the private sector."
Not among those with a Ph.D in economics.
Both democrats and republicans are bought by the lobbyists. They're just playing good cop bad cop. Behind closed doors they're buddies. We're being played.

If Joan Walsh never becomes my wife I would be sooo happy.

@Mplay1983 Intelligent economist is befuddled by a sexist, biased left brain feminist robo-responder throwing emotion rather than logic at a purely logical problem and you call him intimidated? I'd bet you throw out ists, phobes and isms whenever you come up against an argument to your PoV that makes sense.

Haha! She didn't even understand his point: politics should not dictate economic policy. Like excluding wealthy people from tax cuts because that scores political points with (dimwitted) Democrats, even though it's widely agreed upon that tax cuts for the wealthy will lead to increased growth in the private sector. Here's a novel idea: shrink government consumption of gdp and increase the private sector's share. It's so obvious, but the Dumbocrats have never been accuse of being smart.

What an asshole Armey is.
intelligent strong woman throws facts at the asshole and his rebuttal is "I am so damn glad you could never be my wife..." I think someone is intimidated by strong women cause they're WEAK. asshole
