*Note1: this is NOT a Speed Run and its NOT a professional/skilled walkthrough
*Note2: its been 3 years since I played this so I'm not good at all, I do remember some things but I can't get used to aim with the GC control (Wii remote ftw!)

There is really no "Real" or "Bad" ending here, but you do have a choice to make to get one ending or the other. Kill or not to kill. Also the ending shows that chaos and peace is a cycle, we could have peace but sooner we will be in chaos one more time, thats why Harman and Kun Lan keep "fighting" each other, its a cycle that will never end... well thats what I think it means really, I'm not 100% sure if thats what SUDA wanted to say with all of this lol.

Mini Review:
First of all I must say this game is a love it or hate it. I myself loved it so yeah.

It has an awesome story, but you need to pay attention to all the details and all the metaphors to understand it 100%, it makes you wonder and figure it out things, which is cool but very confusing at the same time.

Gameplay wise this game was very unique when it came out, since it mixes so much gameplay styles like FPS, exploration, action, adventure, bizarre story and characters. But the rail system is something that may get on your nerves cause you are used to fully control the movement of your character, but think that we would need to sacrifice the awesome camera angles if this game wasn't on rails.

Overall, its a brilliant game and its a nice addition to the GC/PS2 collection, if you get the chance, try it out cause its worth a try IMO :). BUT I really would recommend it only to the adults (17+) cause the game goes around a lot of themes that aren't interesting for much Teens (especially politics), but in the end its your choice, I couldn't apreciate it much 3 years ago when I was 16, but now that I'm 19 I really loved it more than I did before lol
I give it a 9/10.

Next game: its... Tales of Vesperia for the Xbox360.
Yep you heard it right, I should be getting an Xbox360 soon if everything goes well, and the first game will be ToV ;)

  • hey omega since your getting a 360, you should try Eternal Sonata after ToV, it has good graphics and a very goood and detailed storyline with alot of twists

  • =O

    Eternal Sonata is for 360?

I have heard some tracks from that game and I was thinking of searching more info and maybe gameplay to see how it was. But yeah I haven't searched for what console it was :P.

  • Great game.

Still there are many questions left unanswered. And is it just me or did it try to go as far away as possible from the main storyline? Anyway great game. What have you got planner next?

  • I think that was its intention, SUDA sometimes likes to parody stuff that happens in movies and TV series, maybe he intended to introduce "fillers" to the game XD. Though I loved all the wacky turns the story had lol

    for the other question...

    *cough*description*cough*

  • I like what Kun said.

"The world won't change, all it does is turn."

  • This game was awesome. Even though I didn't know what was going on for about half the game, I thought about the story and how evrything fits together. Love it when games make me do that.

  • Funny how it's 2012 nao. And in two years, it'll be 2014. Ah, this game is ok.

  • @colqaddafi Thank you

  • @Magmus456 Japan is nuked. The U.S. does nothing to protect Japan, even though it has the option to save it. Matsuken will rise as Japan's new leader, unite the nations of the world against the West, and destroy the west (in this ending) as a final act of revenge (the first being the Heaven Smile acts of terrorism in America).

  • So, in this storyline. What bad did The United States commit? I don't have this game, but it's interesting.

  • credits music is dope

  • killer7

one of the greatest games i ever saw

  • Option 1: He kills the man he thinks he could end evil and be free. Nuke drops japan.

He dies ending his suffering forever...

Option 2: He let the man live and was award his freedom or so he thinks. War against USA. He lives on still running through the path which he calls freedom.

  • Suda is a genius.

  • There really isn't a true ending. Just as Kun said, "The world won't change, all it does is turn." Meaning that your actions won't mean a thing in the next coming of age. Good, Evil and all opposing sides will always clash together. Think of Kun and Harmen Smith as two forces that can never cease. Like the strongest weapon v.s. the strongest shield. As for Garcia Smith, he was the "puppet" assassin helping the world turn to a new age. He was being controlled by the government all along.

  • Which ending options are the good and the bad? let me know k?
