  • I'm moving to Vancouver. XD

  • There is a myth- "Living abroad means I will learn the host country's language and culture effortlessly or by osmosis." This can happen, but in the situation I see in this video- I have a big doubt. Though I also love Canada for it's multiculturalism, if a Japanese student comes to Vancouver to learn English and encounters this 'Little Japan,' how many students fall back to talking Japanese (because it's more comforting) and how many really learn English in a comprehensive way?

  • love japan the last song is from l'arc en ciel, my favorite band!

  • Don't worry about it, we're all allowed to be ignorant once in a while.

  • I have many Canadian friends who say they are sick of Japanese people. Just goes to show you what happens when cultures collide. This video is bias and does not look into both sides. Just saying.

  • that guy has some awesome hair.

Pretty cool that they have influenced the area and have included their culture into it.
