@theARMORYchannel Technically, he's correct. This is apparent because there is no .45 "Short" Colt. The .45 Colt was unofficially designated the .45 "Long" Colt to prevent confusion with the shorter .45 Schofield.

I was thinking the short barrel would make performance suffer, but a couple of sites out there say they only see about a 200 fps loss between the short barrel and the 7.5" one. With big, hard-cast bullets, that shouldn't be a big problem if you're thinking of using one of these for protection while camping (especially since you'd be using it at short range). I mean, a 360 grain bullet at 1500 fps is pretty scary stuff!

YO Pete,
That scratch you mention is still there and it's friggin huge! It's visible @5:41. Also, I wouldn't call that a scratch, that's a gouge. I don't think this can be easily buffed out. If I were buying, I'd ask for a big discount or get not buy at all.
