@DeltaSigChi4 Continued: I can also tell that your logic is extremely fucked up. The idea that I'd have to prove that something DOESN'T work, is completely backwards and illogical. The person making the claim that a supplement does work, has to prove it. In 90% of cases, supplements are shown to be placebos and fail miserably. Lets see some peer reviewed research for even a cold cure, I'll make it easy haha.

@DeltaSigChi4 I can tell by your comment that you are a fucking nut case conspiracy theorist quack, and even if given the 100's of thousands of studies showing complete quackery among the supplement industry, it would all be part of some great conspiracy, I know, I know. Check out JISSN, Mayo Clinic, or the health library(which is sponsored by iberb(dot)com, a company that even sells herbs) All these sources show you the peer reviewed research, nice try though quack.

@theUSER101 You, nor does anyone else on this planet, do not possess any EMPIRICIAL evidence -- not even an iota -- showing that your idiotic statement is even remotely true. Nice try though. I suggest you apply for employment for news corp. You would fit right in with your far-fetched complete lies being stated as fact.

@friskystapler I PM'd you the studies hero.
-
@DeltaSigChi4 FYI: These proteins contain far less metals than real food.
-
@theUSER101 speaking of which...shouldn't you be digging out one of these studies that backs up everything you're talking about? still waiting...

@KevinS9192 Athletes may also want to avoid all those heavy metals that will never leave one's body. But hey, feel free to run to GNC and buy your heavy metals by the tub. I will enjoy my salmon, chicken, eggs, and almonds. You enjoy your heavy metals. Cheers!

@friskystapler Personal testimonies don't hold any weight because of two reasons, confirmation bias and placebo effect. Anyone who has taken even an entry level science, logic, or psychology class should know that. The supplement industry makes the bold claims, I'm just giving you the facts and what science has to say about the claims. Stop reading your Quack Prescription for Natural Healing book and start looking at the Mayo Clinic books or other pro-science literature.

@theUSER101 Funny you say that. I take the Wellness Formula, and I swear by it. I take it on the onset of any illness and it stops it cold. I would like to see these studies you are referring to, as you're making some pretty bold claims. Though wholefood vitamins are the same molecules, they are protein bonded which provides better absorption. These nutrients occur naturally in raw whole foods together as they were intended to be absorbed synergistically.
If you drink too much water you will die. FDA should start regulating water now lol

FUKIN IDIOT REPORTER ...of course you can get protein from other foods like milk and eggs but those have lots of fat (which athletes mainly want to avoid)
and 23gs in a 3glasses of milk is good and all but its not a muscle building protein...out of the 23g of protein in that milk only 0.01% of that protein is whey/ casein which are they fat burning, muscle recovery proteins...So NO drinking 3 glasses of milk is not the same as having a protein shake...sit down bitch!
