pretty sick bruce doesn't seem to mind all this material of his up on youtube for free. unlike certain other money grubbers of the classic rock era (ie: beatles).
as the years pass, bruce is still rocking and still gaining young fans --- his legacy grows every day (unlike the beatles who are negotiating business deals with steve jobs like they don't have enough money already)
bruce you make new jersey proud!

This version is AWESOME. The reverb and opening harmonica make it a lot more powerful than the original version. It's a lot louder too. In short, it's the tits.

This is cool. Same version from the promise but a bit longer plus we get to hear Bruce count it in :-).

@bugattibowler i disagree i think this is a much better version and tells a better story

Sorry - the studio version is perfection. This version is chopped & screwed - slightly interesting as a live version perhaps - but even then I'd probably take the opportunity to find a latrine & piss out my beer. Sorry BruceHeads - this is barely proficient.

@SimplemanNY agreed, but i think he just added that fuelie heads to complete the lyrics xD

I'm French. What does he say at the beginning of the song?
(The first sentence)

Having followed Bruce from back when Asbury Park had just been released, it was interesting to hear how some of the songs that we know so well today "evolved" through countless live performances. I've got a couple bootlegs that feature "works in progress," and the evolution is very interesting...
A great songwriter, performer, and human being!
