Body language shows he was caught in a lie, a lie he didn't remember immediately how he told it. The pause was to recollect what he said previously... he knew it's not the truth, and we now know for sure it wasn't. A lie is more difficult to recollect than a truth. Lying takes effort, truth just flows freely. This man in one long string of lies... it baffles me that some people still believe in him and wants to vote for him.
