@natfingerboard I had exactly the same with Pro Mark, 5Bs and Benny Greb Signiture model, The last 3 pairs of Benny Grebs were all completely different weights. I now use a local company in the UK whos quality control is amazing... check them out if in UK - Supreme Sticks. I have never checked out Vater, have heard good things though.

I just hate it, its like, i use vic firth 5A (i never knew about vater, sorry, going to check them out as soon as possible) and when one of the sticks break, and I have to go pick another one, it's way heavier, or way ligher....
