interesting. well before my time... I was born in the early 80s... and even then I didn't watch an actual NWA affiliated show until the early 90s, when my aunt sent tapes of wcw/ jim crockett/ georgia championship/ nwa when my I lived in germany.

so when I got back it was around the time of the Dangerous Alliance beatin the brakes off of ricky steamboat and dustin rhodes with sting and ron simmons commin in to save the day.

@mrtrin Actually, i think the Great Mephisto came up with most of that schtick back in the 60s. He was the one who first started talking about chewing on betel nut with Abbudadein atop the 7th step and whatnot. This is King Curtis son. King Curtis was part of Sulivan's crew in Florida around 86. That's probably the inspiration for Rocky Iaukea's depiction of Abbuda Dein.
