They're not remaking this movie. According to IMDB, the 2008 Changeling is about the old legends of goblins exchanging their babies for human babies.

Too bad they dont release a special edition dvd. the one thats out is lousy quality and not even widescreen.

I love 'The Changeling'. It's one of my favourite movies. I also love 'The Music Box' written by Howard Blake. [The tune that Scott is pretending to play] A few years ago - a special edition 'The Changeling' soundtrack CD was produced but they only made 1,000 copies of it. I'd LOVE that CD - that's for sure.
