if u plug in to a charger into ur psp and take out the battery it still works

@gamerzrockify That's because the power is coming from the plug not the battery, as if there was a battery it would be chaging but if no battery it is like a console straight from the plug power.

Does the battery cover on yours feel slightly loose? I got mine today and noticed that the battery cover can be moved a mm or two back and fourth, although it stays on fine.
