Dave Hunt wrote the "Seduction of Christianity" and "Beyond Seduction" ~20 years ago. What he has said, both in his books, and in his documentary, is quite abundantly clear in today's Charismatic Churches.

The casual and bigot minded "Christians" of today, are so deceived, I fear that these will be the very people that will proclaim, Revelation 13:4
(4) ...Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

Thank-you Dave Hunt for bringing Joel Osteen to the surface for us. I always believed that Joel Osteen was preaching a message of "positive thinking", and not the true gospel of Jesus Christ. He reminds of of a "feel good preacher" and that is why he can pack his church to the brim with people every week. He tells them what they want to hear with nothing preached to them about their sins, the sin condition, repentence, hell and judgement coming soon from God to this planet. God Bless You Dave.

@denoinwa Ask yourself why have these cults deviated from the truth of God's word? It is because they didn't have the Holy Spirit guiding them in understanding the bible in the first place. The difference between your comments and mine is that I speak the truth about you while your giving me names is out of sheer malice, not truth. As to head covering, if you cannot even see the Paul's clear prohibition of women to teach over men, how can you know the other truths of God?

@denoinwa You are spiritually naive. It doesn't take much for true believers to know who is and who isn't of the Lord. He who is of the Lord upholds the authority of His word, the bible while he who is not will deviate from this authority and add their own "spin" and interpretation to suit their own preferences. This self-will to deviate from God's word is excatly what gives rise to innumerable christian cults such as the Mormons, the JW, the catholic church & the gay church.

This is delusionary hypocrisy from someone with misplaced faith. If your faith was primarily in Christ, you could admit your lack of perfect understanding. But you cant can you? You study the scriptures diligently because by them you THINK you possess eternal life.
