You will be misunderstood by people that aren't at your level. Some of the negative comments I have read about you border on the ridiculous. I do not see anyone falling off a horse here. What video were you watching? Clinton is a very good trainer. I have respect for him and Doug. Any "style" of horse training, that is effective and is not abusive mentally or physically, and that makes perfect sense, is great information. So as far as im concerned, in this video, their is some great information that you should be able to enjoy.

wow thank you so much for posting these videos! its really quite amazing. i have a random question tho and have had little success coming up with an answer. the horse i ride always tries to grab the [ight side of the]shank on the headstall i use. my instructor said i shouldnt tighten it any more tho because it will make her too 'smiley'. any hints? thanks!

A horse can spin with its nose several directions. Some spin better with there nose tipped in this is usually the direction they lean there shoulder. some with there head straight and others with a counter bend. Anything is like salt. A little on a steak is good but too much and its unedible.  But this is the real system taken and sold by Clinton Anderson.

I love CLinton Anderson methods too! You dont have the "lets jump our horse over a picnic table and then let me tell you a story about my old friends friend and then lets throw a party in the arena" Parelli type deal. I have respect, again for both of these trainers. For Clinton and Doug. I know so many different methods available, and from what i have learned and experimented with. Why cant people just be more like us folks?. lol

not to continue to act as if i am picking on you, i just needed more reply space from my previous reply to you. they only give you so many words. :) I probably know about 20 different variations to training the turnaround. And their is only about 3 or 4 that actually work and get better results. I would have to add this "training tip" from Doug, as one of the top.. Yes i have seen your methods of training. And it works. Thank you for letting me learn something from you.

Clinton Anderson is a fairly new "famous" horse trainer (in the US - and your in Japan? im surprised that you havent at least heard a word about him. He is Australian trainer). Anyways, I respect CA as a horse trainer as he doesnt have to be as showy as Parelli does. I have also found his methods to be quite effective. But you know what is quite effective also? Learning from your own experience and what works for you.

I use clinton andersons methods and they work nicely. I like what I see in doug's, want to give them a try. I have trained about 11 horses using CA. He is good a trainer not God and I like to try different things from different trainers. If it works use it!

here we can see again that clinton anderson fans write shit about doug´s way of training. in all videos he is very nice to the horses, they´re a not stressed. they´re show horses and have to do they´re every day training like human athletics, too. but these horses lokk all satisfied and as if they´ve fun with they´re work
