@jimbolightningy he said he was born in Australia so he dosnt need to do it, only applies if your a citizen of a country that requires national service
-
@saedharrouk dont you have to national service like the turks
-
@Abbaddon09 i was actually talking about the heritage and cultural background of people, lets just think for a sec, if i was born overseas to my current parents who are both australian, but i was born in germany, the wouldn't make me german.. just because you are born somewhere doesn't mean that is your homeland..an another thing, everyone has a mixed cultural background, so stop thinking you're something special and unique, because you're not..

@Babdelwahed how can you say that joining the army is not the right way in helping others religion is not even the right way too, a lot of people drop out of religion mainly because they're either been sexually abused, violently beaten up, scabbing money from you or simply just trying to brainwash you.
plus there are sub groups of each of the three main faiths that are always constantly at each other's throats.
lastly the taliban are muslims so are you supporting them because of that?

@wellthennevermind " just because an animal was born in a stable does not necessarily mean it's a horse"

@PR0GRAMMING let the Taliban destroy themselves. Just a bunch of stupid crazy old dickheads whose bark is worse than their bite. Fuck 'em.
-
@ethicomm fuck the war in Afghanistan.

@saedharrouk Don't be a fool with your life - wars make one not great. Fighting and killing to get what you want will have severe karmic repercussions on you. Fix what is wrong with your own neighborhood instead of messing about with another country.

@saedharrouk Ignore what the other dickhead said, he is simply unaccustomed to cultures he can't, or chooses not to understand. You are as much of an Australian as anyone else here; your certificate of citizenship verifies that. If people with 'un-Australian' heritage weren't considered Australians even though they were born here, I highly doubt anyone living here could be considered Australian. As a citizen you ARE Australian, even if you are an Australian with a distinct cultural origin.
i just got accepted in the aus army as a crewman mbt... im lebanese muslim but born here so this makes me australian and im proud to be accepted to help fight side by side with my australian brothers...
and to be able to protect my motherland...
LONG LIVE AUSTRALIA!!!!.....
