Fantastic. She was told, she cannot use the flip in olympic style competitions, because all jumps have to be landed on one foot and continuously. She learned to do so, but her move was not allowed anyway. Had she been allowed, she would have won gold, not silver in the Olympics. On this video her landing is not yet perfected, but in later videos she does an impecable job!!!!

We all saw that she had won in 1993 by a large margin and was the World Champion, fair and square.

Wow...I wish she would have skated like this in competition! Amazing! The beauty, ease and fire she skates with here, especially in the second piece, would have been enough to take down a couple of worlds and maybe an Olympics!!! Wow!

The music is a vocal variation performed by the french soprano Mado Robin. The music is: IL CARNEVALE DI VENEZIA (The Carnival of Venice) but It's very controversial who was the composer ... Anyway it's quite correct to say that the first to write it on paper was ERRICO PETRELLA (1813-1877).

I dont think many skaters would even attempt a move like that knowing that they could land on their skulls and crush their spines, I think the ISU didnt make that a legal move because of the risks involved.
