@mrjessejasperbigguns HOLY FUCK. Have you seen how old this video and my comment is? Get a FUCKING life! Don't bullshit me OR ANY of these people saying I'm wrong. Ubisoft put it in both development diaries(1st + 2nd game) what their names were supposed to translate to. I relayed that into a comment on youtube and look at this fucking forum I started. Enough corrections! I'm DONE!
@mrjessejasperbigguns It's Ahad, not Ahab, Ahad means "One"! I'bn means "Son", La means "No"... Altair means "Eagle"... So Altair Ibn La Ahad means "Eagle, the son of no-one"!... I know Arabic! I know what I'm talking about!
@Darkfire25196 I Don't want to argue but Ezio Auditore de Firenze tranlates to "Aquila, ascoltatore di Firenze." Not eagle, listener of Florence. And Altairs I don't know.
@Darkfire25196 altair can mean the flying one but that's if you pronounce it liek this al-taa-yer, but if you pronounce it as al-tair it means the eagle or falcon, ibn la-ahad not la-ahab means (ibn) son of (la-ahad) no one. This emphasises him being anonymous.
I aint wantin to argue but when you knocked him you could have used hidden blade on him or assassinated him with his back turned.

@Dragogen You may be right... I'm pretty sure Altair can be or "eagle" or "the flying one"... But about the last name I am 100% sure I'm right!
