While we were on Molokai, we noticed all around signs protesting development on La'au Point, on the westernmost tip of the island. We did some research and found out why.
That was a great video...I'd like to use it as a teaching tool with my students. SAVE LA'AU! One day I'll win a badillion dollars, buy the ranch and put things back the way they were! :)
How many times did you say wealthy? is there something wrong with that? I understand the locals not wanting the development, that's fine, but please don't use the excuse that the new residents would be wealthy, it makes you sound ignorant.
