@kikyoC Hey man.You sent me 2 messages. I don't open emails from people I don't know (due to viruses, worms, etc) I'm interested in what you have to say. Please post them on this site.
@kikyoC (Con't) Adam and Eve could eat from any tree, but the one. After they were deceived into eating of the tree, they immediately experienced spiritual death evidenced by their loss of innocence (Gen. 3:6-13). They also became subject to physical death. They eventually died and all people also have died or will die. "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Rom. 3:23). "The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Rom. 6:23)
@kikyoC Those who reject the free gift of salvation by putting their faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross remain in their sins and will be judged. (Jn. 3:18 + 8:24). Original sin is a term that explains what happened in Eden as the overall effect. Adam + Eve were innocent and not subject to death. God did not program man to love Him + live for Him, but gave them free will. This is represented by the tree of the knowledge of good a evil (Gen. 2:9,16,17). (Con't)
@55k3v1n Ok you said that all have original sin and are born with it and that they will not be judged by it, where is this written in the holy scriptures?
@kikyoC (Con't) There is a lot of detail that comes between the fall and the coming of the Messiah (Jesus). Some interesting scriptures about reconciliation: "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (Jn. 3:16) "The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Rom. 6:23). Being saved from the fallen state results in spiritual rebirth and eternal life.
@kikyoC God, being immortal, intended for people to live eternally, yet we suffer from physical death. After the fall God put a plan in place that would reconcile humanity to Him. The resurrection of Jesus demonstrated that the power of God can defeat the curse of death. The resurrection isn't just coming back to life, it's coming back to life in an immortal resurrected body. The fall occured because of free will and the acceptance of the free gift of salvation is also by free will. (con't)
@kikyoC Yes all are born with original sin, but children are not judged by it before the age of accoutability. One way of looking at it is by thinking how the world should be if God was a loving caring God. He intended for us to be in continuous communion with Him, so the fall resulted in spirtual death. This would explain all the contradicting religions + atheism. This is why Jesus said we must be born again of the Spirit, which brings us back into communion with God. (con't)
