Star of Arabia Film Visits Science Center

Arabia is now playing in the Dr. Phillips Cinedome. Narrated by Helen Mirren, the film examines the history, culture and landscape of Arabia through the eyes of Saudi Arabian film student, Hamzah Jamjoom. Born and raised in Jeddah, Hamzah came to the U.S. at the age of 17, accompanying his college-age sister.

Now 24 years old, and approaching the end of his own film studies at Chicago's DePaul University, Hamzah's driving dream is to join a youthful generation of scientists, thinkers and innovators in Saudi Arabia who he believes will fulfill on the potential for a new Golden Age for his country.

Hamzah came to the Orlando Science Center for the premiere of the film on August 20. He welcome guests to the film and engaged them in discussion throughout the premiere event. Here's a video clip of Hamzah introducing the film to Orlando.
