@Zodiac11111 The reason they don't show the top fall over is to leave that little bit of doubt in your mind. The dream world he might have been in doesn't have to be limbo. There is so much trickery going on that it becomes hard to tell reality from dreams, which is the point of the film. I think a better ending might have been Michael Cane walking over and picking up the top while it was still spinning.

Cobb wears a wedding ring in his dreams. In the ending he was not wearing one

If it were limbo, Cobb wouldn't have remembered his "arrangement" with Saito.

The top began to slow down at the end, implying it will fall very soon ( matter of seconds)

Michael Caine confirmed every scene he was in was reality, including the ending.
