  • whats the name of that 3rd song

  • @jarenbigj06 The Eagles Hotel California Live

  • How are you running them active?? I want to do the EXACT same thing but mount the midrange in my a-pillar. I was told I need a processor cuz my tweeters are in the door (near the side mirrors) and the time alignment will be out. Maybe thinkin bout a Bit One but there very pricey. Is it worth the money??

  • @bik0304 I have a audio control processor. I actually am getting a bit one or the Rockford 3sixty.3 They are DEFINITLEY worth the money and will make a HUGE difference. That is the best way to run active and have it sound the way you want.nThanks for watching!

  • Hey man, nice setup. Are you running these active, or did you get the 3-way crossover as well? I have a set of the HSK 165's on the way for my '02 Yukon, so it will be setup similar to yours. Although, I'm thinking about moving the tweeters up to the dash to bring up the sound stage.

  • @khawkins75 Thanks man, yes I am running them active and they perfomed very well. The tweeters will sound nice at a higher position as well. I have 2 pairs of the Hertz Spl Show tweeters the are gonna go in my pillars. Keep me updated on your build. Id love to hear how it comes out

  • @TheBiggBlue thanks for the help. Are you still running the woofer and tweeter off the hsk165 crossover?? Or is the whole front setup active? How do u have it wired up?? And If I do run an active 3 way with the bit one doesn't that mean I need a 6 channel amp to power the fronts? Cuz it's 6 channels on the front. Right now I have an audison sr4 powering the hsk165 and I'm not sure how to rewire the front stage to add the midrange speaker

  • @ihaveaverybadcold I dont see why not. The only downside is if something happens, you dont have a dealer warranty. Outside of that, you'll have a great set of mids and highs!!

  • hertz sounds so sweet would it be a good idea tro buy used if you could find em used????
