My wife laughed when I cooked up oatmeal, "thats what we feed horses in Germany", after trying it she now eats it a lot. Pecans and dates - the bomb.

i dont eat ir every day or week and idk why cuz i totally luv it with almonds or walnuts, cranberries, and honey or splenda. i'll have to try almond milk (just heard about it the other day) and cinnamon or nutmeg. i do use whey protein with fat free protein fortified milk so yea and wow nice flex hehe

I haven´t had oatmeal since I was a little Child (wich seems to me, was a long time ago).
I had it with cherries or raspberries.
To loose some Bodyfat, I made sort of a diet a few months ago.
I had lots of carbon fiber in the morning. For supper, I had mostly fish and other protein-rich products. No sugar in the evening - no more sweets before bedtime.
It took some time, but it did work.

Cherries & Raspberries sound very good. I eat those in the morning and for snacks. Sometimes I put them in my whey protein shakes also.
Yes if you get focused and stick to a plan it will work, you just have to be committed.
