One must admire veteran DJ Norman Jay's steadfast commitment to his craft over the last thirty years. The Queen concurs, awarding him an MBE in 2002 for services to music and he remains the sole DJ to be recognised by the State in this way. So what keeps Mr. Jay rooted to the decks today? Well, his work as a radio DJ and promoter have always been about expression, speaking out and standing up for his beliefs. For us, Norman reveals how his life has changed and why people need to speak their mind.
