Andy Schumm and His Flatland Gang

Here's my new band. We're based in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. Mike Jones, Derek Sanchez: trumpet, David Phy: trombone, Dick Kelley, Marcus Wolfe (ten/clarinet), Andrew Schurman: saxes, Drew Fredrickson: tuba, Jordan Kaye: banjo, Paul Asaro, piano. I'm playing cornet and cymbal (in the bow tie and vest, of course!) We play music from the late teens to the mid-1930s, but we special in hot jazz/dance from the 1920s! This is our first live performance. I hope you enjoy it...there will be a lot more to come! It'll only get hotter!

I love this!! I only live 25 miles from Champaign, and am a #1 fan of Paul Asaro, I have been to the Blind Pig to enjoy his expertise at the piano. Where do you play at in, or do you, in Champaign.? I wuold love to enjoy this music live! Thanks for posting!!
