After cheating everybody and all the wheeling and dealing over the years, J.R. finally gets his. His illegitimate son, James Beaumont throws in the sanitarium, like J.R. did Sue Ellen a decade before. Great scene!!!! Some advice to J.R., you don't expose your plan of destorying somebody while they have your fate in their hands.

  • I am a big fan of JR'S so i think that only he can backstab, lie and cheat!!!!....lol. I hate this JR wannabe James! Does JR get out of the mental home? please someone say yes!

  • He gets out eventually, but not in the way you expect. His latest wife, Cally takes pity on him after his secretary Sly convinces her to release him from the sanitarium. J.R. doesn't get revenge on her or James so, eh...lol...it was the last season of the show so I suppose there wasn't much time left to do everything to the max.

  • ha, JR was SUCH an asshole - the ultimate creep, backstabber, cheat and coward.

Don't you just love the guy!

  • I know!!! LOL Gotta love him!!

  • is this from season 13?

  • Season 12's cliffhanger

  • Love J.R. I think it was so hilarious that he got fake papers claiming he was mentally ill to get admitted to the nut house to get those shares of Weststar stock from Clayton's crazy homicidal sister. LOL. That is called doing whatever it takes! This guy is such an inspiration to me. To say I learned more from him than I did in business school would be an understatement.

  • J.R had money & the power to do what he wanted he had the police under his fingertips in braddock county texas and every man or every teenager wished they could've been j.r ewing back in the day.

  • @agrotis79 a form where he could stay in the nuthouse!!!!

  • What did James get him to sign in those papers?

  • JR was also a human being. The great proof was always when he got in the trouble.

in the sanitarium and in Haleyville for example. He became unselfish to the other people.

  • That's exactly what happens years after JR put Sue Ellen in the sanitarium --- his bastardize son [James] is exactly doing the same thing JR did, before. Oh, and he [James] said the same line, like his daddy!

  • James is his father's son in this scene

  • I agree with you!! I wish Bobby would be there to beat the hell out of that useless bastard James!!!
