It says here "added one year ago"...but yeah, one year can seem like a really long time. I'm studying neither :] Now that you mention it, I've noticed that when Americans say "interpreting", they mean sign language interpretation. Here in Europe, interpretation means oral transfer of one language into another, as opposed to translation (written transfer). I study (European meaning) interpretation for English/German/French. I learnt the sign language alphabet just for fun.
@qwasyx3 I'm not sure about the general populous here, but if I say "interpreting" to a person not familiar with the profession, I would specify if it was Sign Language or Spoken Language. But since this is a signing video I assumed you meant Sign interpreting! lol and the meaning of translation is the same. So basically they're the same, it would just depend on the context of the conversation..
that's really cool! I want to learn some more languages too (spoken ones).
Way to be modest...that's pretty awesome. This is coming from a German interpreting student who only knows the sign language alphabet but that's about it. Geez you're fast :D
