On the 30th of September 2007, Richard Dawkins, Daniel Dennett, Sam Harris and Christopher Hitchens sat down for a first-of-its-kind, unmoderated 2-hour discussion, convened by RDFRS and filmed by Josh Timonen.
All four authors have recently received a large amount of media attention for their writings against religion - some positive, and some negative. In this conversation the group trades stories of the public's reaction to their recent books, their unexpected successes, criticisms and common misrepresentations. They discuss the tough questions about religion that face to world today, and propose new strategies for going forward.

Hitchens 'not much of a deisgner' re: dead planets. Why would you assume a creator WOULD create every planet teeming with life? Why would that be a superior creation to this one and in what sense? Secondly we know that all those dead planets (and dead galaxies for that matter) must exist, in close to the exact manner that they do, in order for one life-sustaining planet to exist. Could it be different, if God so willed? Sure. SHOULD it be, for any concievable reason? No
Harris: "is there anything in ehre that oculdn't have been written etc." - in the case of Koran or other holy books, no. In the case of the Bible, yes, or at least, it would be infinitely unlikely that the ancient authors would have known, or accidentally guessed, that the universe was finite, expanding, and accurately described the chronology of 'creation' events
If by "upper middle class" you mean "financed by Osama Bin Laden but still completely cut out of the global marketplace as legitimate players" then yes they were upper middle class. Yes, the Taliban and others provide access to money, and they are about the only way to acheive any semblence of "wealth" in those countries. There is a difference between having money and having wealth, those people have no legitimate wealth and are only paid so long as they continue their lives as terrorists.
