  • Awesome gun. By far my favorite handgun to date.

  • Still have my service side arm from the 60'. Good weapon. Have it stored.

  • Thumbs up if the m1911a1 is better whithout a red dot sight.

  • now if only i spoke asian.

  • translation: this gun killed many of our people in world war 2

  • @TheHogger129 i am not understanding when i considered a .30 super a 9mm..infact i dont think i did- and for the rest i agree, for target- go with a gun you can shoot more accuratetly and handle correctly, and for self defense, bigger is always better- 1911 FTW

  • @mikethenascarfan - Idk if you consider a .38 Super a 9mm round. But compared to 9mm Parabellum, yes .45 Auto is more effective.

I like the .38 Super 1911 that I use for target shooting. Low recoil round, very accurate.

In a self defense 1911, I always go with .45 Auto.

  • Yup. There's a reason the 1911 has been around for 100 years.

Most used gun in competition shooting, in US military service since 1914, and an American icon.

  • Isn't it irononic how this is in japenese and this gun faught the japs in WW2?

  • 45 ACP> 9mm

Colt 1911> Berreta m9, Glock, Desert eagle, ANY Pistol

  • @Watcher3223 Eh... wasn't very well known, this new comer. Well, you can never find anything about it on Youtube. It's a new concept, and the thing won't be just ready to fire from any pistol. It needs strong frame and slide and more than just modifications around in and out side.

Boxed factory ammo of this stuff can be find from Buffalo Bore ammunitions. It's a great round, just gotta find the right pistol.

  • @1stMarineCapt

Thanks for the tips and tales regarding this cartridge! I admit, I never knew about .45 Super until now. Great to learn something new in this hobby.
