  • This was a huge juke box favourite in Coventry in 1968, it was great for me because

Des was at the time a trainee surveyor for Coventry Corporation and was my pal at

college. It was obvious he was going to do more with his life than sit behind a desk,

    well done mate.

  • @1975MADNESS this is about 20 pounds worth...still brill track tho

  • had this on a single...in fact over the years jigsaw was my fave band...long before skyhigh...very under rated...this is a great track in the mode of alan bown ...incidentally same label..

  • ya can here the 2-tone influence in this can't ya...which was 11 years after this record was released, as most of you know. Great. It's like the U.S 60's garage/punk sounds that were released a full 10 or 11 years before British punk took off.

  • Brilliant. It's too bad "gemm and ebay" scumbag sellers got hold of this track. Great song, far from a $300 single though.

  • So glad this song found its way to Youtube. I usually avoid bands with saxophones but this is a triumph! I saw this band and heard this song several times at various clubs around Coventry. Notably the 40 Thieves club. This was their most commercial song - unfortunately it never got enough airplay to be come the hit it deserved.

  • AMAZING!!!!!

  • Damn ! I had to pop by again to hear this.....I just found out from wikpedia that Jigsaw were from Coventry! YEAH my home town!

They also did the hit "Sky High"! funny what u discover years later. Where can I get these Jigsaw recordings from???????

  • I love this tune!

As a child I saw my groovy brothers and sisters dance to this and we joined in.

Its STILL stomping, and so funky!

Best thing ive heard today, Im SO HAPPY!

    Thank you for uploading
