Final Fantasy 13 - PS3 Gameplay

Me playing FF13 PlayStation 3 already on chapter 9 前へと逃げろ: Run Forward (something like that).

Playing Time: 22 hours.

Characters: Lighting (Blaster), Hope (Blaster), Fang (Attacker) and Snow (wasn't fighting)

Summon Used: Odin.

My Thoughts? No, not as I was expecting! the day I purchased the game I played it continuously for 12 hours, was really great.. but then I realized there's nothing but fighting, no towns.. no cards.. no additional games.. no unique soundtracks (as in FF7 & FF8).. it lacks a lot of things.

The graphics are completely terrific, the best thing so far, the story is OK though.

My rating for the game (notice I still haven't finished it yet): 6 / 10.

UPDATE!

I went to the game store the other day and the store was full of used FF 13 http://bit.ly/dflPgM it was at least 50% cheaper. So if you're looking to get the game but still confused you may consider waiting.

I never played Final fantasy .. Do i have to play a 12 games to play 13 or the story ain't connected ... Can't be connected since 12 games ... this game really confuse me . Can someone explain ?

I could never really play Final Fantasy. The whole turn based stuff gets boring you know. I personally like the Kingdom Hearts gameplay more. It's all free roam stuff and if there are enemies you just fight them right there, not go through all this turn based stuff. Boss Battles get special stuff but even then its not all that different from the regular gameplay. Don't get me wrong, I like the stories, love the characters but the gameplay just isn't my cup of tea.
