I use to wonder that too, and that when Nick regained his memory from the plane crash he would remember that he lied about the test and tell the truth. But I honestly believe that Summer is his just because he got his memory back and nothing like that happened. And now he wants to be with Sharon so he could easily just say, "well Summer isn't mine anyway.." So yeah I believe Nick is Summer's father, with out a doubt!

nick is summer daddy. I read in one of the soapdigest books. So we can just get over it. Sharon is the one who needs to get their own baby daddy and leave phick alone

i was on the spoiler site a little after this aired and i remember it said jack turns out to be the father of summer. but then all the writers went on that strike and a lot of story's got scrapped and i never seen/heard of jack being the father again. so i think it was planned.. but they just got rid of it.

I love it when Phyllis clears her throat :) Our Baby, don't you ever forget Summer Nick, because she does have a piece of Phyllis in her too and we dont want her to get mad at you when she gets older! Female version of Adam! LMAO

I still think sharon's baby is Jack's .....I think Mary Jane switched the baby's dna results.

SoapInDepth held a voting poll asking,"Who is the father of Phyllis's baby?"

Results: Nick: 57%, Jack: 43%

So, most of the fans wanted Nick to be the father and Y&R gave them what they wanted.

However, earlier this year, they held another voting poll, "Who is the father of Sharon's baby?"

Results: Jack: 73%, Billy: 24%, Nick: 3%

So, it seems almost all the fans wanted Jack to be the father, but I guess Y&R wanted Cassie's prediction to come true, so they made Nick the father, anyway.

I agree with you. I am so sick of fans thinking that Summer could be Jack's. At this time, Nick was trying to get back with Sharon. Why would Nick lie about the paternity at a time like this? Everyone knew that if Jack was the father, everything would be so much easier. So if Nick was going to lie at all, he would have said Jack was the father. If Nick lied, then he PURPOSELY ruined his chances of getting her back. No, Nick would not say that he's the father if it wasn't true.
