You have the most smoothest freestyle that I have ever seen, and because of that I have modeled/have been trying to model my freestyle stroke like yours. Just want you to know that your legacy is somewhat in some small way, lives through me as I do every stroke.

Thorpe's kick is like dynamite! I do have to admit his start could use a bit of work but they were wrong to comment on his head position. It's not a mistake, but a signature part of his swimming.

I posted this video. I have allowed this bashing to go on long enough. I believe in free speech and I will not delete the comments slandering Ian Thorpe below. I am now tired of this line of comments and if it continues I will either delete the posts or lock out comments. I believe that everyone has made their point.
Personally, I believe that Ian Thorpe was an incredible (clean)athlete and is a true humanitarian.
He did a lot for furthering the popularity of the sport of swimming.
