If you're referring to my 2-point chest suspension, it wasn't even close to my nipples... but the pain is only now a sad distant memory, longing to be embraced once again someday at the edge of a vision.

The 6 months does not quite make sense. The Celtic tree calendar is lunar, and has 13 months. The 12 month calendar was Roman introduction.

@mogrhod - Give the ancients credit for distinguishing the dim orb of the moon from the bright orb of the sun and recognizing their respective rhythms. Yes, the famed petroglyphic Coligny calendar (Gual, France) demonstrates lunar time; while Newgrange and Cairn T Loughcrew in the Boyne Valley (Ireland) speak to solar year events. With cross-quarters, solstices and equinoxes, we're not suggesting observation of a 12 month calendar, rather division of the year into roughly equal eighths! kscottm

Actually, you are describing the predominant variety of Ogham used for memorializing the dead on vertical pillars in Ireland. The Book of Ballymote documents more than a hundred other varieties, including consonantal and horizontal. The Irish NG diphthong is 3 strokes thru the stem line which is likewise used in America as simply an N. See the graphic chart comparison on my website under the "documentary" page or view "ancient Celts in America theory" clip here on YouTube re: linguistics chart.
