The Eastern Sarus is very rapidly losing the battle against encroachment, poaching and human conflict. Once a common bird in various parts of the Indian sub-continent and a popular theme of folk-lore and mythology, is now on the verge of disappearing. This footage was shot at the Velavadar Blackbuck Sanctuary, by Mr. Vishwadeepsinh Raol.
