Death Cab for Cutie live in concert at Esplanade, Singapore. Another great band checked off my list of must-see-live! It was such a great show, these guys sound as good on record as they do live. Such an excellent fusion of each individual band member's dynamics, combined to create one superb performance!
Disclaimer:
* I'm not making any profits from these videos, and recorded the live performance for the love of sharing and spreading great music! So please don't ask me to remove them... :)
* Sorry if the video is blurry/shaky. I tried my best to stay as still as possible but... sometimes the music just takes over all bodily controls!
* Sorry about the random parts where my screeching voice gets recorded. I tried my best to stay quiet but... sometimes the urge to singalong and scream gets the better of me.
* These set of DCFC live @ Esplanade Singapore vids were recorded on two cameras - Panasonic Lumix (great zoom, but shoddy sound recording), and Sony Cybershot (not-so-great zoom, but nice sound captures and video quality)

Hey, man. Great video! I have a question for you. I'm looking for a camcorder to record my band practice, and sound is a huge deal to me. So, because of your video, I'm now considering getting the Sony Cybershot. But, what model did you use? I don't want to get the wrong one and have it not be as good! Thanks!

Hey, thanks! Yeah I know what you mean, I've seen some vids from other cameras and not too happy with live sound recording (esp loud music, most digicams' mics can't handle it and the sound breaks).
Mine was the Sony Cybershot DSC-T5 which is discontinued now 'cuz there are way better models out hehe! I'd say get any of the Cybershot DSC-Txx series and u'd get one of the best audio+video from a point n shoot camera.
