Jay DeMarcus (Rascal Flatts) called me about 3 weeks prior to this clip and asked if I could come play drums at a couple of festivals they had booked. It worked out that D&G was off the 2 particular dates so I was all go. We rehearsed in Atlanta where they were living at the time for a day.
Ok, I have no idea what was up with the wireless vocal mic. Also, the mix is coming from the monitor send. Yeah, it sounds pretty narly, but that wasn't the answer in FOH. It was extreme.
