  • What assembler do you use?

  • @senorverde09

I use ca65 (part of cc65, which is a C compiler). It's a nice assembler, but I would recommend another assembler called asm6 to anyone who is just starting out.

  • I'd like to work on creating a new run of nes titles -- fully carted, printed, and boxed. Unfortunately, I can't find much info on programming the games themselves. If ANYONE I mean ANYONE has any info on --physical-- cart creation/nes programming. Please contact. Thanks.

  • usually have to make your own assembler

  • @Thepiratejoe Retrousb.com has carts you can purchase there, along with some pretty cool new nes goodies. As far as creating nes games....holy schnikees its complicated. Type in (nes game development) in your browser and prepare to be confused. Its another language bro.

  • @Thepiratejoe You could just by a reprogrammable nes cartridge.

  • Nice! I didnt know there was still such a fanbase for the NES

  • whoah! Memblers has a youtube account! **SUBSCRIBED**
